The Meeting Place offers a number of additional security
functions that may be activated by the moderator, providing an
extremely secure environment in which to hold your meeting.
All these features are also available to the moderator through the
web interface.
- The moderator opens the conference but prevents immediate access
to the main 'room' by locking a 'door'. Participants are held in
the 'waiting room'.
- Open conference but keep 'door' locked...* PIN + 7 *
- Lock or unlock 'door' during conference...* 7 *
- Three beeps will alert the moderator that a participant is in the
'waiting room'.
- Let participants in, one by one from 'waiting room'... * 1

- Count number of participants in main conference 'room'...* 007 *
For additional security, the moderator can set up participants
codes that give exclusive access to different work groups.
- To enter the conference, participants dial the Meeting Place
account number followed by the appropriate code. Please call the
customer service to set up participants codes, or enter *4xxxx* to
set the code, where xxxx is the 4 digit conference passcode.
- Activate and deactivate participant codes...* 70 *
- Deactivate participant codes... * 79 *
- You may also take participants into sub-conference 'rooms' and use
'waiting room' facilities during the running of the main
conference.
